A conversion version of the Mechwarrior© light scout mech Raven© with a healthy dose of my style.

Thought i redesign the little guy after playing back some old MW games, and i noticed this little guys pops up a lot in various games and novel. The Raven popularity may not be a strong as the Mad Cat, (a.k.a Timber Wolf by the Clan's terms) But the distinctive bird like shape seems to get stuck at the head after looking at the unique mech.

Anyhow, the upgrade i given to the Raven, well my version is a good upgrade from 35 tons light mech to 45 tons medium mech. An additional two medium laser and a larger set of LRM's racks is added, a slight increase in armour but most of the weight goes into a better engine.

Cause i notice the little guy lacks of speed for a recon mech. Imagine you are doing a little scouting, you find the enemy formation. Okay so you spotted them and if any luck they have not spotted you, well if they do, bail out like a bat out of hell. Now those situations tends to happen a lot, and its not funny when you trying to escape, just to look back and see a heavy mech, especially the Mad Cat keeping in range bearing spewing death to you with her multiple range weapons. And you can barely escape thanks to the Raven not so efficient speed. XD

So i gave her a good boost of speed from 97 MPH (i think its the correct measurement) to a 122 MPH.

Upgrades -

Weapons : 4 x Clan Medium Lasers ; 1 x 240 missiles Clan LRM 10 ; 1 x 5 NARC Beacon ; 1 x 900 ammo triple - heavy machine gun.

Additional 1 tonne of armour.

Newer model of the Beagle ECM probe.

And a newer more powerful engine.

And oh yeah the tail is a fun addition just to offset the balance. XD

P/S : - Since i am getting kind of mixed and confused comments from lots of ppl who does not know much about the Mechwarrior Title (a.k.a Battletech), pls research a little on that and then comment on the mech. Cause it a western designed story so PLEASE do not compare them with the Japanese mecha counterpart.
